Intimate Island Affair in Oneloa Bay

Today, we are so thrilled to feature one of our very first elopements on Aisle Planner. Monique and Christian met the way all (super cool rock-star) couples do: while recording an album for a friend in Los Angeles. Christian eventually proposed in Switzerland and later made it official with a ring in Big Sur. As a couple who loves to travel (and who knew they could do without the high stress of wedding planning), they decided a Hawaiian elopement was right up their low-key alley. With a few of their closest friends and family (and a surprise hula dance by the bride), the couple said their vows in a setting their guests won’t soon forget. Saturated pops of bright pink (the bride’s swoon-worthy lip color) and turquoise (the coolest bridal shoes we’ve seen to date) punctuated a pastel palette that was as soft as it was tropical. We absolutely love every little detail of this intimate island elopement (and know you will, too).
