How do I clear out my notifications?

You can clear out your in-app notifications from your Notification Center in three ways – you can clear out one notification at a time, click through the notification to take action on the particular item, or mark all notifications as read.

To Clear One Notification At A Time

To dismiss an in-app notification, hover your mouse/cursor over the notification and click on the X that appears to the left side of that notification. You can also reference all past notifications in the “all notifications” tab of your Notification Center, just in case you need to reference any of them down the road.

To Take The Next Step on a Notification

Each notification includes a shortcut to the item that generated that notification to help you quickly navigate to the item at hand for next steps. Click on the right hand side of any notification to be taken to the respective comment, checklist item, image or vendor record.  This will also mark the notification as read and clear it from the MY FOCUS section of your Notification Center. You can also reference all past notifications in the “all notifications” tab of your Notification Center, just in case you need to reference any of them down the road.

To Mark All Notifications As Read

You’ll see an option to “mark all as read” in your Notification Center, which you get to by clicking the red square to the right of your name on the top right corner of your screen. You can also reference all past notifications in the “all notifications” tab of your Notification Center, just in case you need to reference any of them down the road.

Are You Getting Too Many Notifications?

If you’re finding that you’re getting notifications that you don’t need, you can edit your default notifications for your account in your account settings (click on your name towards the top right of your screen, then click USER SETTINGS.) You’ll see a tab for ACCOUNT PREFERENCES. You can also override your default settings and fine tune specific notifications per event, by visiting the settings link within each event.
