Wed-Tech Startup Aisle Planner Announces Partnership with Stripe Connect, Launches Cloud-Based Payment Processing for Wedding Professionals

Small San Diego company is rapidly changing the way the wedding industry does business

SAN DIEGO (March 7, 2017) – Aisle Planner, the leading cloud-based platform for wedding and event planners, today announces the completion of its full suite of business management tools with the launch of its fully integrated payment processing portal and invoicing tool. This major addition to the company’s core products will allow its customer base to grow exponentially, serving not only wedding and event planners, but now, any and all professionals in the wedding industry. Currently in private beta, the white label payment platform, backed by Stripe Connect, will be accessible to all Aisle Planner customers at no additional charge to their monthly subscription.

In a short time, Aisle Planner has become one of the most respected and recognizable brands in the $330 billion global wedding industry. The wedding technology company has seen massive progress in the last 18-months, ending 2016 with 300% growth in both revenue and users, followed by an announcement that the company closed its first round of funding with Seattle-based Lighter Capital in January. Now, with the completion of its full suite of business tools, the company’s target market focus expands from engaging the wedding and event planning community, to ambitiously targeting the wedding professional community as a whole.

“When I first set out to create Aisle Planner, I knew the product had the capacity to grow to meet the needs of the entire professional wedding community, to be the leading resource for seamlessly managing a professional’s business, plan events, and collaborate with clients and vendor partners all in one powerful, integrated platform,” said Christina Farrow, president and co-founder of Aisle Planner. “We aim to empower the hundreds of thousands, even millions of small to medium sized businesses that make up the global wedding and events industry to bring them into the digital future – to build a better business, and a better life.”

Aisle Planner is unique as the company’s founders, as well as the majority of its female-led executive team are former wedding and event planners. Every tool within the platform breathes the deep understanding of the wedding industry landscape, a niche market that, until recently, has been relatively untouched by technological advances. Now, in the suddenly crowded wed-tech startup space, this “homegrown” differentiator has helped the brand build an extremely loyal following in the professional community.

The powerful suite of business tools offered by Aisle Planner includes the ability to track and manage leads, create and send proposals, contracts, and invoices, and now, accept payments all within the professional’s Aisle Planner account. To support the influx of new potential customers, Aisle Planner has created a Business Project subscription, which will give wedding professionals the option of managing the day-to-day operations of their business on Aisle Planner, without buying into the full wedding and event planning tools package.

Currently in Beta, the company will release the payment processing tools to all U.S.-based customers in the coming months. The Aisle Planner international customer base, operating in 54 countries, will gain access to the tools in phases following the U.S. market.
