Aisle Planner Expands from WedTech to Business Management SaaS Market

SAN DIEGO (June 15, 2016) – Aisle Planner, the cloud-based wedding and event planning software service, today announces its expansion to include business management services with the release of its lead management tool, the first of its planned full suite of business tools.

The lead management feature will allow Aisle Planner subscribers to track details from the initial client inquiry, update information throughout the sales courting process, and translate the lead into a booked event. The addition seamlessly flows into the platform’s previously established collection of collaborative event tools, which include a Budget Manager, Guest List Manager, Design Studio, and Timeline Tool, to name a few.

This new tool and the company’s pivot to include a business management segment is in direct response to meet the growing demand to modernize and connect the $330B global wedding industry and the wedding professionals who drive the business. With customers in 52 countries, Aisle Planner has seen more than 11,000 weddings planned on the platform in the two years since its inception.

“We aim to support event professionals for the full life cycle of an event, from the initial consultation until production, and the days of rest and reflection that follow,” said Christina Farrow, president of Aisle Planner. “There are many generic tools on the market that allow you to do the basics of business and project management. Yet, as they are repurposed from other industries, the software often fails to meet the needs of this niche market. Our emphasis has been on creating that customization by working closely with many of our customers to build tools that meet their every need.”

With the addition of lead management, the company has begun to capture the attention of an ever growing audience of professionals, outside of the target wedding and event planners it has serviced for the last two years. A growing number of venue managers, florists and rental companies have begun to utilize Aisle Planner, successfully customizing the tools to meet their specific needs.

Far from finished, Farrow looks forward to the time when event professionals can utilize Aisle Planner as a one stop shop for all of their business and event planning necessities. The company has seen steady growth during the past year, and expects the trend to continue as the wedding industry adopts a more modern, technology backed model to match evolving consumer standards.

To support continued expansion, Aisle Planner has completed a friends and family round of funding, and is now raising a seed round.

Founded in 2013 in sunny San Diego, Aisle Planner was created by professional wedding planners with the intent to modernize a system within an industry that has long been forgotten by today’s technological advances. Its core product, a cloud-based wedding and event planning solution, provides a stylish and streamlined suite of tools that makes designing, collaborating and managing every last event detail easy for wedding and event professionals, and their client partners. To date, Aisle Planner has helped manage more than $415 million in more than 11,000 weddings, with users in 52 countries, increasing daily. As the platform grows to become even more of a complete business management tool and inspiration resource, its mission remains the same: to serve and support planners as business owners and event managers, to share their stories and to celebrate their passions.
