Georgia Romance at the Glen-Ella Springs Inn

From a wedding arbor handmade by the bride’s father to florals both classic and whimsical, this Georgian affair has us ready to take the South by storm.

Today, we are so thrilled to share with you one of the most romantic weddings we’ve seen to date. From farm tables dripping in the sweetest of details to a breathtaking outdoor ceremony in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this classic Southern affair had us at “hand-painted wedding suite.” Meghan and Davis wanted an elegant wedding in a relaxed environment, and the Glen-Ella Springs (a historic bed and breakfast boasting charming wood floors and classic Georgian architecture) made for the perfect setting to host an event that managed to evoke both nature and classic Southern charm. With details both romantic (a custom lounge area complete with tufted couches) and grand (elaborate draping and breathtaking chandeliers), the couple’s wedding encompassed that unmistakable old-school Southern aesthetic while still feeling utterly fresh and absolutely welcoming. So, head out to your wrap-around porch, pour yourself a glass of iced tea and get ready to fall head-over-heels in love with the images of this sweeter-than-sweet-tea soiree.
