Introducing Wedding Websites

The age of the millennial has arrived – and they are ready to tie the knot! It’s no surprise that the popularity of wedding websites has skyrocketed, as this tech savvy generation spends more time on the Internet than you can even imagine. And what better of a way to create an EVEN better guest experience from the minute they receive their invitation, giving your couples their own corner of the internet to share all of the wedding details, room block information, travel tips & sights to see – to build a fun filled (and more organized!) wedding weekend.

How to Add Pages to the Website

Our Wedding and Event websites come with the ability to add Events, Travel, and Registry pages. To add one or all of these pages, simply click the  “+” under the page you’d like to add. (If you do not add any information under the additional page type, the page will not appear on the website.) After clicking “+,” a modal will open where you can enter the information and details. Details like:

  • Event dates and times
  • Event descriptions
  • Websites and addresses
  • Registry links

Things to Know About Wedding and Event Websites

  1. If you create an Event Website under a project that is not a wedding, any reference to “weddings” has been removed.
  2. The image file you upload for the cover image will be automatically placed/cropped to the center. If you want to control which part of the image appears, we recommend cropping the image prior to uploading it. The ratio you should use is 4:1.
  3. Whenever you upload a valid address on the Travel page, a “Map It” button will automatically appear.
  4. When you are ready to unpublish your wedding or event website, simply uncheck the checkbox next to Publish Website and it will come down.

What is the scheduled release date of the option to add the RSVP option to the website through Aisle Planner?

    1. Dani Lampitt Dani Lampitt says:

Hey Victoria! Unfortunately we do not know when this update will be made, but can assure you it is on our development roadmap!

  2. Stephanie says:

Hi, we urgently need a way to do RSVPs through this site. I am not sending out paper invites and may have to do two separate sites or not your site at all due to the missing RAVP function.

  3. Lesleanne Blakeley says:

Hi there! Is there a way to move the order around for the items in each tab (ie. move the order the items appear in the `Events` tab? Or do I have to re-add everything? Thanks!

    1. Christina Farrow Christina Farrow says:

      Hello Lesleeanne!

Thanks for reaching out! Currently, once you’ve added your events within the events tab, you won’t be able to rearrange them, so you’ll want to add or “place” them in the order in which you’d like them to appear! I can certainly see how it would be helpful to adjust them once you’ve added them to your website, so we’ll definitely keep this in mind as we continue to refine our wedding websites! We appreciate the feedback, but in the meantime, I hope this helps!!

  4. Nicole says:

Is there an option for guests to RSVP that can filter or link to the website where the guest list is created? Now that would be a fantastic feature!

Hi Nicole, Online RSVPs is on our short list of new features we would love to roll out! Stay tuned!

  5. Chan says:

Is there any way to change the title of a page. For example, If you won’t have additional Events and wanted to change that page to show photos/names/info of the bridal party.

    1. Tayler Cusick Hollman Tayler Cusick Hollman says:

Hello! Right now you can’t change the title of the page though you can customize the categories on the page. So, under the Events page, you can add sections for the names of the bridal party. We are looking forward to making some exciting changes to our wedding websites in the future – including more customization and images! Happy planning <3

Hi Krista! Congrats on your engagement! To answer your question, yes, you can edit the wedding website once it is published 🙂 Happy planning!

  8. Jamie says:

Can the client see this on their end? Usually there is a button that allows us to release a section to the client and I don’t see that as an option. Thanks! This is really cool!

    1. Tayler Cusick Hollman Tayler Cusick Hollman says:

Jamie, so happy that you are excited about the new feature! Yes, your clients can see Wedding Websites when they log in. As of now, there is no “planner prep mode” on this since creating a wedding website is most likely a task that is assigned to the couple.

  9. Margie says:

Is there the ability for guests to rsvp via their website?

    1. Tayler Cusick Hollman Tayler Cusick Hollman says:

Hi Margie! This is just version 1 of our Wedding Websites and we’ll be making the feature more powerful in the future! Yes, RSVP capabilities are on the roadmap for this 🙂
